Sweater Bunny

I know we are creating rabbits and bunnies, but how about a sweater for a bunny? I caught this link on Cute Overload, and had to share. Now I have been inspired to knit up sweaters for my little rabbits. Getting the rabbits to wear the sweaters will be another issue.

Bunny Block

I used a free pattern on the side link to knit this Bunny Dishcoth as a block for KTC blanket.

It went really fast and it was fun! A few of these would make a great baby shower gift!

Bunny!

I swear I posted this here already, but I guess I was dreaming or something.

I sent the bunny to my mom on Tuesday, so hopefully it will arrive today or tomorrow at the latest. :)

Another Kate Gilbert bunny

Just for fun. I want to make more of these!

Here's my bunny

Well, strictly speaking it's a crocodile pretending to be a bunny. I got inspired by that bear in a bunny-costume crochet pattern, but found the bear too innocent-looking. So it became Ms. Croco.

Another Bunny

I knit a bunny out of leftovers from a baby cardigan.

And here he is with a face.

Gift Bearing Buns

A pair of custom bunnies (well, kind of - the bunnies are the same as Carat, but instead of bearing carrots, these guys are carrying gifts unique to their recipients!) - now that they are gifted to their new homes, I can finally post them!

Baseball Bunny

A Kate Gilbert Bunny, in black of course. Would look cuter with a fuzzy yarn, or felted, but I used leftovers. The flash makes him look holey, but he's not that bad in person. He likes baseball!

Ant's Bunny

I knitted this bunny for my son, Anthony (age 3)--he carefully put him in the bowl with the eggs I knitted as well. (The eggs are from www.curlypurly.com/eggs.html.) I used Lamb's Pride wool, size 8 dpn for the bunny, and some cheap cotton yarn for the eggs (also knit on the same dpns).

The bunny is Jess Hutch's pattern, and I added the tail and whiskers. I was pretty happy with the way it came out, although next time I won't stuff the arms as much--they stick out too much!

I am almost done with my next bunny, in a different pattern . . .

Another Felted Bunny!

Another bunny created with the infamous pattern. I used Elann's Peruvian Highland Wool for this year's bunny. You can check out my blog for a couple more pics!

stabbyfelted bunny!

My first 3-d needlefelting project. He's pretty small... only about 2.5" from nose to tail. I made him up as I went, and tried not to bleed directly on the poor bunny as I stabbed the heck out my finger a few times. Fun!

Rosie the Rabbit

I wasn't really happy with how this bunny came out - for me it's all about the eyes - but other people just love it (her)? I think it's because of the yarn - it's Sirdar Snuggly - a bit of a nuisance to knit with but comes out lovely and soft, the stitches don't really show. She is an Alan Dart pattern.
I get embarassed when I show people that I not only knit bunnies - I pose them in the garden for their pictures!

Bunch of Bunnies

I knitted these pastel bunnies, all from the same pattern, when my sister got pregnant with my nephew - he just turned thirteen so I guess I have been knitting bunnies (and other toys) for a while now!

Needlefelted Bun

I made bags for my stepkids and then needlefelted some designs on them. One wanted a bunny sniffing a flower. I whipped this out before we ran out the door to return them. It turns out I perform well under pressure - I'm very happy with the results! I also made them those start-with-a-square bunnies, but since so many people have posted pics of those I didn't bother. Needlefelting is supereasy - try it!

Cute Bunny

I had bought a skein of pink fluffy stuff with the intent to make womb, a knitty pattern for one of my infertility friends but in the end the yarn I bought was too fluffy so I thought....BUNNIES. I found this pattern and got to work. I really like how they turned out and can see myself making more of them.

Brand New !

There's a brand new bunny (free!) pattern at Magknits this issue...
Check it out!

Rag Bunny

I made my own pattern for a rag bunny the other day and put it up in my new website. Hope people like it.
